New PTU kit ~ Stefan - Inspired by The Vampire Diaries, a free desktop background and a sale

Well I managed to get my newest Vampire Diaries inspired kit, entitled, 'Stefan' up in one of my stores. The rest to follow as soon as I can get some time.

They are in PSD format so you can easily add a picture in the frame. It is made for a wide screen computer. I can't remember the size at the moment (i know my bad) but I believe it's 1680x1020 or something like that. As long as you have a widescreen, it should fit, should, no guarantees *wink*

New PTU Kit ~ Damon, freebie add on and a sale

I am back with a brand new kit!
It's a kit inspired by the TV show The Vampire Diaries, which is my new addiction and guilty pleasure.
My first kit had to be dedicated to Damon, that hot, sexy, unstable Salvatore brother.
Yes, I am Team Damon forever! lol.
In fact, I have also taken to writing TVD fan fiction. But that's a story for a different blog lol.
This kit is tagger size only, 72 DPI. It has 21 papers and 69 elements. The papers are all 800 x 800.
It's full of goodies you would expect, such as crows, blood splatters, wings, buttons, black roses (from the books), bloody frames etc, but also some special fog filled frames.
If you're Team Damon you definitely can't be without this kit!

Freebie Remembrance Day kit ~ We Remember

Well i have been planning this for awhile now, but I only finished this kit today, *whew*
I have been trying to work on this for a few weeks but the past 2 especially
I would open up PSP and Photoshop and nothing would come
Then today it just kind of flew out there lol
I know many younger people these days don't have any idea what sacrifices were made during WWI and WWII, i know i don't, I was born in 1974. But I guess the school's I attended seemed to reach me.
I remember every year we would read the Flanders Fields poem over and over. And in the older grades we would have to memorize it and recite it. I never did memorize it though, like I said i have a terrible memory, while worse as I get older it wasnt much better when I was young lol.
I have started to notice not as many people wear poppies anymore. I know I lost mine, which I hate doing. I usually buy a few of them throughout the couple of weeks they are on sale.
While my own grandfather was kicked out of the army because he had flat feet, my husband's grandfather did serve, he was in the Navy. I couldnt even imagine what he went thru. He saw death, more of it than anyone should ever have to see. He was on the ships that would have to retrieve the dead bodies from the water after a battle. Im sure you dont want to know about it or even think about it, I know i dont. But its important to remember what these brave men and women faced, all for our freedom. My husband's grandfather survived the war, but it left terrible scars. He rarely ever spoke about what he did during those years. Until his death a few years ago, my husband had no idea what his grandfather had actually done during the war because he wouldnt talk about it. I wish for a time when we wont have to fight each other. But whether that ever happens or not, we can NEVER FORGET! Or their lives will have been sacrificed for nothing.
Before I get to the kit, I managed to create a layout with a picture of my husband's grandfather. Oh and i also made a quickpage to share with you all. And please dont forget, I began as a tagger and still am, so I am new to layouts and quickpages and things. This is all new to me, so please be gentle. I am going to have to post them as thumbnails because they are a tad too large for my blog.

Wordart freebie #2

Wow its actually been 10 days since i posted!?!
Well for once a have a really good excuse lol, i have been sick with a very bad chest cold. I have asthma so a chest cold is not a good thing for me, just glad that more often than not, they aren't chest colds. This one nearly knocked me on my behind for days and i almost went to the ER. But im improving every day and much better than i was days ago, so im not complaining.

Ok, so on to my reason for the post.
When i went school shopping for my daughter, we found these t-shirts that she just loved thanks to her new obsession with vampires and anything twilight related lol. And well i loved them too, i swear if i can find them in my size i will get them lol. Anyways, the one shirt has on it, Only Vampires can Love you Forever. And wow i thought that would make some awesome wordart. And well.... i was right! I think it turned out very good and its a little similar to the t-shirt, but with my own flare lol. Its in psp and png files so anyone can use it. I was going to make a tag with it but i havent had a chance yet, too many other obligations, but if i do i will share it with you all.

It's been awhile since i made something for commercial use and after a million interruptions i finally got them done and in the store lol.

Ok i must get busy on to my really big project.
I would love to say more about it but i like to keep it a secret lol
All i can say is its a set of 9 kits that will be sold separately as well as in a bundle for way less, and they will all be able to be used together or as stand alone kits. There is no particular theme for them, except the color so they will be perfect for any tag or layout. And thats all i can say about that LOL.

My new PTU kit ~ Wild & Feisty and new freebie sampler

Well i managed to finish a new kit today that i started on this weekend. The hardest part was coming up with the colors and a name lol. The name actually comes from my 12 year old daughter, she suggest Wild & Feisty. I didnt even know she knew the word feisty LOL. But i think the name fits this kit purrfectly *wink*

I am also giving you all a freebie sampler from the kit. Its just a few of the items from the kit, so if you like it, maybe you might want the whole kit. Its on sale at a couple of my stores, so click on the blinkies to check it out.

Anyways, the kit is 20 papers and 146 elements....YUP 146! I LOVE leopard print and i couldnt stop making stuff lol. So its a huge deal at $3.25, but you can always find it on sale somewhere. It is only in tagger size, i tried making the papers in full size but i was having problems with the fur looking right, so i gave up. There are so many items i couldnt possibly show it all in the preview, but i tried my best to show at least one of everything.

New Freebie kit ~ Canada Day, Eh?

Well i managed to throw this together today so i hope you all like it. What the heck tho its free right? lol.

It is tagger sized BUT its at 300 DPI in case anyone wants to print it out. So if you're making tags with it, make sure your tag has the proper DPI if you are using PTU tubes, you dont want to be breaking the rules.

Someone had asked if i was making a Canada day one this year and since im Canadian and since someone obviously likes my work enough to ask me, i just had to do it LOL. But you all know i do like giving freebies away, just havent had much time and i am still having money issues. They are getting better tho, still tough but looking up, so i thank anyone who has purchased from me or said a prayer, i appreciate it all.

Ok well enough of my rambling, cause otherwise you know i wont stop LOL. Im gonna be busy the next few days and this is the last week of school for the kids so UGH im gonna be pulling out my hair soon im sure LOL. My Newest kit ~ Purquoise Revisited

Well i have finished another kit, wow another you say? Didnt i just finish one a couple days ago? lmao. Ya actually i did, though it may be awhile before i get another one done, i have some other work im supposed to be doing.
Now this kit is done in both Full and Tagger sizes and will be in stores tomorrow (Friday). I might get it up tonight, but i wanna watch Hell's Kitchen and its in less than an hour, and it takes forever to upload to 8 stores, so we shall see LOL.
For those who have visited since the beginning, will remember i made a mini kit called Purquoise, well this is using the same palette. I loved it so much i swore i would use it again when i have had more practice at scrap making, so i did lol.
